Not all animals on this video are in our show.

When we move from town to town our main concern is for our animals and the conditions in which they travel. They are the last to be loaded and the first to be unloaded at the new site. The average distance travelled is only between 20 and 50 miles on the transporters and they have hay nets so they can eat when they want and when they arrive at the next site the stables are errected within the hour. They are given more hay and water and new beds to roll around in. The animals really enjoy the new grass at the new ground. The next morning weather permitting they all go out to graze at the new site with new grass. Normally no shows on Mondays and Tuesday so the animals have free time. At Circus Mondao we have seven Government Registered animal trainers with a wide knowledge of Animal Care, Training and Husbandry. There knowlege covers the smallest to the largest of animals. On top of this we are visited by 2 specialist vets and a farrier to ensure all our animals are happy and healthy. Petra and Carol are currently studying with Warwickshire College on an Equine study course. Even though Petra and Carol have a vast knowledge of looking after Equines, Ruminants and 'Wild Animals' in this day and age unless you have a certificate to prove your knowledge it does not count for anything. Madalane and Cinzia really love working with animals and also enjoy what they get from the animals and both wish to do Equine study when they are old enough, Ryszard, Carol, Jason and Petra all have certificates of competence in the transportation of animals by road.
